Engaging Your Consumers

Bloggers. Millennials. Book Lovers, Experts, Enthusiasts. The consumer marketing space is getting increasingly fragmented and hyper-niche as a result of the vast amount of products and services available in the marketplace and the tremendous growth of the internet and social media channels.

Therefore, the ability to find, connect and engage with more than one consumer segment whether it is niche audiences or the broader mass market consumer audience is more important than ever. At Go Glossy, we draw upon knowledge, expertise and creativity to develop strategic marketing communications campaigns that go beyond demographics and tap into consumer passions.

We create and deliver the right messages to your right audiences utilizing traditional and social media platforms that build brand awareness, reinforce brand loyalty and motivate consumer purchases.

Today’s technology is far outpacing the speed of small business marketing. While new businesses hit the ground running, established business owners are having a more difficult time getting up to the speed of this new business climate. One of the easiest and quickest routes into this digital realm is through providing online video content to reach your customer base.

The Aging Pyramid

This is what demographers call an “age pyramid.” Each bar represents a five year age cohort; with those ages 0-4 on the bottom and those ages 85 and older on the top. In every society since the start of history, whenever you broke down any population this way, you’d always get a pyramid.

But from 1960 to 2060, our pyramid will turn into a rectangle. We’ll have almost as many Americans over age 85 as under age 5. This is the result of longer life spans and lower birthrates.

It used to be the generational divides were equivalent to a triangle. As you can see, according to the wonderful folks at Pew Research, that graph is changing year after year, decade after decade. For years it was a pyramid. Meaning at the top were very few people living to be to be 100. As those demographics change into more of a rectangle of generational divides, it still goes to show you how the world has already changed.

Is your business catering to as many cross sections and demographics as it can to get more business?

Each row likes to be marketed to differently whether your customer is a “Millennial,” a “Baby Boomer” and so forth. Now imagine that your business is missing out on generations and cultures not using you because they are not finding your best message.

Public Relations is all about relationships.

Publicity provides credibility, and a much faster return. One prime national interview or news story can bring more response than an entire ad campaign. Just ask those who have been featured by CNN, Fox, The Los Angeles Times or The Today Show. Whether you need a book publicist, entertainment public relations or publicity for a new business – we invite you to discover the power of an established agency.

Public relations (PR) is the practice of managing the spread of information between an individual or an organization (such as a business, government agency, or a nonprofit organization) and the public.   Public relations may include an organization or individual gaining exposure to their audiences using topics of public interest and news items that do not require direct payment.    This differentiates it from advertising as a form of marketing communications. The aim of public relations is to inform the public, prospective customers, investors, partners, employees, and other stakeholders and ultimately persuade them to maintain a certain view about the organization, its leadership, products, or of political decisions.

There has never been a company that hands us their content on a silver platter and that’s okay. This is one of my favorite parts – writing – it allows you to GET INVOLVED with your client. If you have been in business awhile, or you are an expert in your field, I promise you, you have CONTENT.

USA Today said, “Publicity is becoming like politics and people are realizing that fame does not happen accidentally.”

Working with a powerful and highly experienced publicist is the key. It’s not about sending press releases. The top level media receives thousands of releases each day. It’s about having well developed relationships, personal access and influence. Publicists provide a link to decision makers that otherwise would be impossible to reach. Just like the rest of show business, it’s about who you know. In addition to our media contacts, we have an established network of top agents, managers and attorneys to assist clients in all aspects of the industry.

Go Glossy Public Relations & Media prides itself on affordability and a long and successful history.  We guide our clients with a personal approach, we get involved with a focused strategy. We are proud to be the publicists of choice for some entertainment stars, authors, experts and entrepreneurs.
